If you hide, not many people will find you,

which will be seen at the top (or near the top)
of the first search results page
of every important search engine.
Many other people promise you
that if you just pay enough money,
your website will be among the 5 ads on the first page.

What's the truth?
Paying a lot of money works, exactly as promised.
Getting your website onto the first page,
without paying a lot of money for an ad,
can't be guaranteed, no matter who says so,
unless it's said by Bill Gates :))

Short of that, can anything be guaranteed?
Not much more than to say that content is king.
By that is meant that the more you write about a topic,
the more likely it is that a search engine
will put your website on its first page of results.

But doesn't it cost more to make a website
which has a lot of pages?
